Terry

With a genuine passion for her work, Terry brings more than 30 years of experience to her role as a dental hygienist. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science and dental hygiene from the University of Bridgeport’s Fones School of Dental Hygiene in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Terry began her career in her hometown of Huntington, Connecticut, and after several years of hands-on learning and professional growth there, she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout her career, she has cared for patients across every age group, including children, older adults, and individuals with special needs, along with those who feel nervous or fearful about visiting the dentist. Patients know her for her warmth, understanding, and a gentle yet thorough approach to care.

It was in Arizona, during the late 1990s, that Terry met her husband, and together they welcomed two adopted daughters into their family. Twenty-five years after her move west, Terry relocated to North Carolina to be near her family.

Outside of the office, Terry enjoys spending time in her garden and preparing her grandmother’s traditional Italian recipes for friends and family. She takes great pleasure in hosting guests, has recently taken up pottery, and spends much of her free time with her King Charles Cavalier named Charlie.

Terry feels genuinely fortunate and proud to be part of the team alongside Dr. Jim and Dr. Chris, along with the rest of their dedicated staff. She looks forward to getting to know and caring for the patients of The Smile Architects.
