Post-Filling Care Instructions
- Please wait to eat or chew anything until the numbness from your anesthesia has fully faded.
- Parents watching over a child who received treatment should keep the child from eating or chewing while still numb, and should also watch closely to prevent lip or tongue biting, since this can lead to significant soft tissue injury.
- Steer clear of sticky, crunchy, or hard foods for the first 24 hours.
- Any sensitivity to hot or cold temperatures, along with general soreness, should ease up within a few days.
- If pain or discomfort continues beyond a few days, please contact our office.
