Dr. Chris Meletiou

Dr. Chris Meletiou was born in Morganton, North Carolina, and is a native of the state. Growing up, he also spent time in California, Sweden, New York, and Iowa. He completed his undergraduate coursework at the University of Iowa, earning a degree in anthropology, before continuing his education at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Once dental school was complete, he took part in a residency at the University of Iowa Hospital, where he learned how closely dentistry and medicine are connected.

In his practice, Dr. Meletiou takes time to listen to each patient and to support the personal oral health goals they bring to him, since better oral health can, in many cases, contribute to better overall health as well. Over his many years in the field, he has built experience with services such as same-day crowns, Invisalign orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry, which together give him a well-rounded set of options to bring to patient care.

Outside of the practice, Chris likes tinkering with cars and heading out to the race track when he has free time. He holds the rank of Eagle Scout and continues to give back to the Boy Scouts organization as an Assistant Scoutmaster. He and his wife, Tamyra, also make a point of traveling together and seeking out new places to explore, often alongside their two grown children, Austin and Linnea.
